Cricket Namibia is the custodian of all Sport and Cricket Programs at the Namibia Cricket Ground. This advert serves to announce a vacancy as Gymnasium Assistant of the HP Hub.

Operating Hours: Early mornings and evenings

The High-Performance HUB is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gymnasium Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about fitness and athlete development, with hands-on experience in training and gym operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to athletes and members on training programs and proper use of equipment.
  • Monitor gym activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best training practices.
  • Conduct basic fitness assessments and assist in developing strength and conditioning programs.
  • Maintain and inspect gym equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating gym usage for athletes and teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all gym users.
    Requirements:
  • Proven experience in training and fitness coaching.
  • Background in operating a gymnasium, including equipment maintenance and facility management.
  • Relevant certification in fitness, personal training, or sports science is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
