Cricket Scotland can confirm that Chris Blake, a Cricket Director on the Board of Cricket Scotland Council Limited, will resign from his role on 2 February 2025.
This date coincides with the conclusion of Mr Blake’s presidency of NoSCA (North of Scotland Cricket Association) which will be confirmed at the NoSCA AGM, being held on the same date.
Mr Blake has served as a Director since 2020 and Cricket Scotland would like to thank him for his service and valuable input over the last five years, during what has been a transformational period for the sport in Scotland.
Cricket Scotland is coordinating discussions with NoSCA, NESC (North East Scotland Cricket) and SPCU (Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union) to appoint a successor to Mr Blake on the Board in due course.

Cricket Scotland, formerly the Scottish Cricket Union, is the governing body for cricket in Scotland, based at the National Cricket Academy in Edinburgh. Established in 1908 and restructured in 2001, it became an ICC Associate Member in 1994. The organization includes three sub-associations: the East of Scotland Cricket Association, Western District Cricket Union, and Aberdeenshire Cricket Association.
