Hong Kong Sixes format and tournament structure
The Hong Kong Sixes is played with six players per side and six overs per innings, distinguishing it from conventional T20 cricket.
The tournament begins with round-robin matches across four groups. The team finishing first in each pool will advance to the Cup semi-finals, while second-placed teams will compete in the Plate competition and third-placed teams in the Bowl competition.
The group stage will determine which teams progress to the three competitions, with the Cup semi-finals providing the pathway to the tournament title.
