Italia T10 Cricket has officially announced its partnership with Livewires Sporting Venture, confirming the acquisition of the Venice Livewires franchise ahead of the inaugural Italia T10 Cricket season.
The partnership was marked by a signing ceremony in Hyderabad, bringing together Mr. Arvind Tadakamalla, Managing Director of Livewires Advertising Private Limited, Mr. MSK Prasad, former Indian cricketer and Team Director Venice Livewires, Mr. TNR Mohit, professional cricketer, and Mr. Aamir Akhtar, Chairman & Co-Founder of Italia T10 Cricket.
The occasion marked the beginning of a new sporting association, bringing together business leadership, cricketing experience and a shared commitment to developing franchise cricket in Italy.
Livewires Sporting Venture, part of the Livewires business group, marks its entry into international franchise cricket through the acquisition of the Venice Livewires franchise.
The inaugural season of Italia T10 Cricket is scheduled to take place in Rome, Italy, from 18 to 29 November 2026, featuring six city-based franchises competing in the fast-paced T10 format.
The addition of Venice Livewires further strengthens Italia T10 Cricket’s vision of bringing together international cricketing talent, experienced sporting professionals and strategic franchise partners to promote the growth of cricket in Italy.
With the partnership now official, Venice Livewires are set to make their debut in Italia T10 Cricket 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for the franchise and reinforcing the league’s ambition to establish Italy as an emerging destination on the global cricket map.
