Guyana Amazon Warriors and ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League Join Hands for Humanitarian Relief The Guyana Amazon Warriors, in association with the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League, today announced that all proceeds from ticket sales for the Final will be donated to educational and humanitarian relief efforts for families and individuals affected by the MV Barima tragedy.
Sir Clive Lloyd, Chairman of GSL, said: “The MV Barima tragedy has deeply affected all of us here in Guyana, as well as the players and support staff visiting Guyana for the League. Our prayers continue to go out to those grieving profound loss and those brave responders whose work continues. We have decided to dedicate proceeds from the Final to support the affected families and survivors. We thank Guyana Amazon Warriors for leading this initiative.”
The ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League Final will be held of August 1st at the National Stadium.
