Hobart Hurricanes are one step from the Weber WBBL|11 title after securing hosting rights for The Final, to be held at Ninja Stadium this Saturday, December 13.
After confirming top spot on the competition standings with seven regular season wins, the Hurricanes have earned a shot at a maiden championship, having never played in a WBBL decider.
Sydney Sixers, Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars will join the Hurricanes in the Weber WBBL|11 Finals Series.
The Weber WBBL|11 Finals schedule is:
• The Knockout: Perth Scorchers v Melbourne Stars, Tuesday, December 9, 7:45pm AEDT, WACA Ground
• The Challenger: Sydney Sixers v winner of The Knockout, Thursday, December 11, 7:15pm AEDT, North Sydney Oval
• The Final: Hobart Hurricanes v winner of The Challenger, Saturday, December 13, 7:15pm AEDT, Ninja Stadium
Tickets to all WBBL|11 Finals matches go on sale Monday from 10:00am local time for club members and 12:00pm to the public in each market, at www.bigbash.com.au.
Every Finals match will be broadcast live on Seven, 7plus, Kayo Sports and Foxtel, with radio coverage on ABC Sport and SEN.
The League will also announce multiple awards during the Finals week. In addition to the BKT Golden Cap winners the Young Gun Award, the WBBL|11 Team of the Tournament and WBBL|11 Player of the Tournament will be announced.
