After a spectacular comeback in 2024, the HK Cricket Sixes return…with bigger names, bigger hits, spectacular cricket and even more excitement… in 2025.
Cricket Hong Kong China, is excited to announce that the 2025 edition of the iconic HK Cricket Sixes, will be held from October 31st to November 2nd later this year at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
The tournament received the prestigious Mega Event status from M-Mark last year, and it justified that tag with sell-out crowds, a world-class television broadcast to millions of viewers globally, cricket stars and enthralling cricket. The carnival atmosphere at the event not only drew local cricket enthusiasts but also provided a venue for families to enjoy the sport and have a fun weekend together.
The 2024 edition featured 12 international teams playing in a group format with the teams proceeding to the plate, cup and bowl knock-out stages, over two days of adrenaline fuelled cricket. When the dust settled, Sri Lanka had emerged victorious in the Cup finals defeating Pakistan and lifting the magnificent dragon trophy.
Burji Shroff, Chairperson of Cricket Hong Kong, remarked, “Last year was the best Sixes ever held, and we are committed to making the 2025 event even better. By announcing the dates over six months in advance, we encourage everyone to mark their calendars. We are confident in delivering higher quality cricket and an even more vibrant carnival atmosphere.”
