Cricket Hong Kong, China is pleased to announce that the 2026 edition of the iconic tournament will take place from October 30 to November 1, 2026, at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
First introduced in 1992, the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes has built a rich legacy as one of the most innovative and entertaining formats in the game. Following its successful return in 2024 and continued momentum in 2025, the tournament has once again established itself as a premier event on the global cricket calendar, attracting sell-out crowds, international broadcast audiences, and top cricketing talent.
The 2025 edition of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes delivered thrilling, high-scoring, and nail-biting encounters throughout the tournament. Pakistan emerged as champions, securing a record sixth title with a dominant performance in the final against debutants Kuwait. Kuwait impressed in their first appearance, reaching the final and showcasing their potential on the big stage. Hosts Hong Kong, China delighted home fans with a dramatic Plate Final victory over Bangladesh, while Sri Lanka claimed the Bowl title to round off an action-packed tournament.
Sanctioned by the ICC, and designated as a mega event by the Government of the HKSAR, it is the fastest format of cricket that involves nation to nation matchups and is billed as the “Global Battle of the Sixes”.
Renowned for its dynamic six-a-side format, the Sixes delivers high-scoring matches, bold stroke play, and non-stop entertainment. The 2026 edition is expected to feature a strong mix of international stars, emerging players, and fan favourites, from eight major cricketing nations as well as four Associate Members, continuing its tradition of world-class cricket in Hong Kong.
Beyond the on-field action, fans can look forward to a vibrant festival atmosphere and a Fan Village across all three days, with entertainment, food and beverage offerings, and family-friendly activities.
