The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for media rights in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka covering the 2026 to 2028 global event cycle.

The ITT, made available today, includes packages for both men’s and women’s ICC events and is aimed at broadcasters and digital platforms interested in acquiring rights across these key South Asian markets.

Men’s and women’s ICC events on offer

The tender covers media rights for a total of seven major ICC events — four men’s tournaments and three women’s tournaments — during the 2026–2028 period. These include:

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 – hosted by India and Sri Lanka

ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 – co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

ICC Women’s T20 Champions Trophy (inaugural edition)

Packages tailored to each territory

In Pakistan, up to five rights packages are available, combining men’s and women’s events. Meanwhile, in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, each market will have a single combined TV and digital package up for bidding.

These media rights packages offer access to some of the most high-profile global cricket events, reflecting ICC’s continued efforts to grow the women’s game and offer bundled opportunities to partners across platforms.

Interested parties must email [email protected] to request access to the ITT documents and submit their interest.

The ICC confirmed that additional ITTs for other global territories will be released in due course as part of its long-term media rights strategy through 2031.
