Kuwait City, 18 August 2025 — The DP World ILT20 Development Tournament – Kuwait 2025 will take place from 4 to 12 September at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground, marking a major milestone in the strategic partnership between the Emirates Cricket Board, Kuwait Cricket, and the DP World International League T20.
This inaugural development tournament will feature four teams: Failaika Guardians, Pearl Strikers, Kuwait Falcons, and Boubyan Warriors. The competition will follow a round-robin format, culminating in the final on Friday, 12 September.
The tournament aims to provide emerging players with a pathway to the DP World ILT20 2025 Player Auction, which will take place shortly after the Asia Cup 2025. Player registrations for the auction will open on 1 August via registration.ilt20.ae.

ILT20 Season 4 to begin on UAE National Day
The DP World International League T20 Season 4 will officially kick off on Tuesday, 2 December 2025 – UAE National Day (Eid-Al-Etihad) – and will feature six teams competing in 34 matches. The season will conclude with the final on Sunday, 4 January 2026.
This Kuwait-leg tournament is a foundational step in expanding the league’s development footprint and further integrating Gulf and regional talent into the ILT20 ecosystem.
