From jaw-dropping reactions to clutch one-handed grabs, fans didn’t just come to watch incredible cricket during Betway SA20 Season 4… they came to make history – and a lucky 13 did so by adding their names to the Betway Catch 2 Million folklore.

Betway once again gave fans the chance to triple their share of the Betway Catch 2 Million pot during Season 4 and that ‘carrot’ saw record number of clean one-handed catches taken for a second-straight season – bettering the 9 and 8 respectively from the first two seasons of Betway SA20.

Also, the opening match – MI Cape Town vs Durban’s Super Giants – again produced a winner with Mekyle Maunder holding onto a six by the League’s leading run-scorer, Ryan Rickelton at Newlands.

He ended up being the only winner crowned there but all six venues produced a winner for the first time in the League’s history. As it happened, the ‘Capital of Catches’, Centurion lead the way once again. Pretoria Capitals’ home ground delivered six winners across four matches, including twice when multiple winners had the sold out crowd in raptures.

When it comes to the batters, all six teams delivered too – with Joburg Super Kings’ Wiaan Mulder seeing two of his maximums being cleanly taken in the crowd during Match 2.
