The Opportunity
We are excited to be looking for a CRM and Group Sales Executive to join the Marketing team at Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket.
About Us
Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket, is an award-winning world-class stadium and venue. It is recognised as one of the UK’s most prestigious venues for sport, business, leisure and entertainment with a capacity of up to 50,000 people for concerts; 26,000 for international cricket matches; meetings and events spaces for up to 2,000 delegates; a four-star hotel with 250 rooms; and an on-site Caffè Nero.
The venue has played host to some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including six ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures in 2019, Ashes Test Matches and world class concerts. In previous years we have welcomed performances from Harry Styles, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and had numerous cricket matches, including England one day internationals and a test match. Key Responsibilities
To support our ambitions to achieve continued growth in Marketing. As a CRM and Group Sales Executive you will be responsible for:
- Research, source and create new group sales opportunities to drive revenues for the department, working individually and collectively as a team member.
- Pro-active outbound sales to the agreed target audiences that include, but not limited to, previous group ticket buyers, corporate companies, Partners and suppliers, Hotel, C&E and ICC group bookers, cricket clubs, schools, and social groups. Working alongside the Cricket Marketing Manager and Head of Hospitality.
- To contact all lead bookers before each match with all relevant match information regarding their visit, and after each match for feedback on their experience and to develop future commercial opportunities.
- Develop and propose smarter group offers based on post-match feedback from lead bookers alongside the Cricket Marketing Manager.
- Work with the Cricket Marketing Manager, Ticketing Manager and Head of Hospitality Sales to identify strong sales messaging and opportunities that can be used in CRM campaigns
- Support the Cricket Marketing Manager with regular reports on CRM marketing performance
Essential Requirements

- Educated to University degree level or equivalent
- A team player who can communicate effectively across departments
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrate experience of working across multiple platforms, using a variety of tone of voice, and engaging with diverse audiences.
