Mumbai Indians Women are entering the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season with a significantly enhanced sponsorship roster, reflecting growing commercial interest in the women’s game.
The 2026 lineup includes Principal Partners Lotus Herbals and Ashok Leyland, alongside Skechers, De Beers Group, Usha, DHL, Soframycin, Amul Protein, and ESA. Of these, six brands continue their long-term association with Mumbai Indians Women, while three new additions — including global names — bring category diversity to the table.
De Beers Group makes debut in sports sponsorship
The season marks a landmark moment as De Beers Group, the global luxury leader, enters sports sponsorship for the first time by partnering with Mumbai Indians. The brand’s entry underlines the increasing sophistication and premium positioning of WPL partnerships.
Also joining the roster is BKT Tires, who extend their five-year relationship with the Mumbai Indians men’s team into the women’s franchise, marking their WPL debut. The addition of Amul Protein, a well-established Indian brand, further highlights the depth and range of Mumbai Indians’ 2026 sponsor lineup.
Brand diversity signals new era for women’s cricket
These marquee deals underscore a broader shift in how women’s cricket is viewed by global and domestic sponsors alike. The range of sectors represented — from luxury goods and FMCG to logistics and pharmaceuticals — highlights the evolving commercial landscape of the Women’s Premier League.
“The quality and growth of our partner portfolio for 2026 clearly reflects the commercial strength of Mumbai Indians,” said a team spokesperson. “As the most successful team in the WPL and with our success off the field in delivering value, we’re building a strong, sustained storytelling platform for our partners.
The evolution of our diverse partnerships since season one underscores the scale, relevance and versatility of our ecosystem. This momentum also reflects WPL’s continued growth, reinforcing women’s cricket as a proven and increasingly valuable commercial platform.”
