How the ICC Player of the Month awards are decided

The ICC Player of the Month nominees are selected based on performances from the 1st to the 31st of each month. An independent ICC Voting Academy — comprising former players, journalists, and broadcasters — casts votes alongside global fans, who can vote via the official ICC website.

The Voting Academy contributes 90% of the final result, while fan votes make up the remaining 10%. Winners are announced in the second week of each month via the ICC’s digital platforms.

Fans can cast their vote now at icc-cricket.com/awards.
