Sri Lanka Cricket is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Masseur to join our medical and performance team, working alongside top professionals to provide the best care for our cricket teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional massage therapy to cricket players to enhance performance
• Perform pre- and post-match massages to optimize performance and recovery Develop and implement personalized sessions in consultation with the SLC Physiotherapists for players based on their specific needs
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure players’ optimal physical condition Maintain comprehensive records of massage sessions
• Assist with the rehabilitation process, offering therapeutic massage to help athletes recover from injuries
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in sports massage therapy The ability to travel as part of as a team as directed by SLC
Required Qualifications & Experience
• G.C.E. A/L qualified
• A Diploma or Certification in Sports Massage Therapy from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a masseur, preferably in a sports environment Strong understanding of sports injuries and the utilization of massage therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
