Smriti Mandhana has reclaimed the No. 1 position in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings, following her composed half-century in the first ODI against Australia Women in New Chandigarh on Sunday.
The elegant left-hander scored 58 off 63 deliveries, including six fours and two sixes, helping her leapfrog England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt to return to the top of the rankings — a position she last held in July 2025.
This marks the fourth time Mandhana has achieved the No. 1 spot in the ODI batting rankings since first reaching the summit in January 2019.
