Toyota has been announced as the new title partner of the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) Awards in a landmark multi-year agreement starting from 2025, further deepening its commitment to English cricket.
The prestigious annual ceremony, which celebrates the best talent across international, domestic, men’s and women’s cricket in England and Wales, will now be officially titled the ‘PCA Awards in partnership with Toyota’.
This announcement follows Toyota’s earlier move to become a Principal Partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), further aligning its brand with cricket at all levels.
PCA Awards: Celebrating excellence in English cricket
The PCA Awards bring together hundreds of current and former professional players, as well as key stakeholders in the cricket industry, to recognise standout performances and lifelong contributions to the game. The 2025 ceremony will take place at Exhibition White City in London on Thursday, 9 October.
Among the honours to be presented are:
- Men’s Player of the Year
- Women’s Player of the Year
- Men’s Young Player of the Year
- Women’s Young Player of the Year
- PCA Outstanding Contribution Award
- Umpire of the Year (Men’s & Women’s)
- ECB Outstanding Service to Cricket Award
- Rado Recognition Award
Last year’s top awards went to Liam Dawson and Kathryn Bryce, with Jamie Smith and Ryana MacDonald-Gay named Young Players of the Year.
Toyota’s broader cricket partnership vision
The title sponsorship is part of Toyota’s wider strategy to support and grow cricket in the UK. This includes their ongoing partnership with the ECB, visible through prominent branding on the England men’s and women’s team kits, and their status as the Official Champion Partner of Disability Cricket.
Toyota is also backing the game at the grassroots level through its ‘Good For Cricket’ prize draw, which has helped raise over £130,000 for local clubs since launching in May. The initiative provides vital funds for equipment and club development across the UK.
Leaders react to the partnership
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Toyota as the new title partner of the most prestigious awards in English cricket,” said PCA Commercial Director Rob Smyth. “The PCA Awards in partnership with Toyota provides the ultimate opportunity to recognise the very best players across England and Wales and elevate what is always a night to remember.”
“At Toyota, our belief in the power of cricket to unite communities runs deep,” added Scott Thompson, President and Managing Director of Toyota. “Through our work with the ECB and now the PCA, we aim to empower more people to access the game and celebrate those making an impact at the highest level.”
The event will also feature live music, including a DJ set from ANNABEL STOP IT, capping off a celebratory night that recognises cricket’s brightest stars and most devoted contributors.
