The festive season is here, and Betway SA20 is ready to turn up the holiday energy with Season 4 just 14 days away.

The countdown is on to South Africa’s premier T20 cricket league, which kicks off on 26 December 2025 as defending champions MI Cape Town host Durban’s Super Giants at Newlands.

More than cricket, Betway SA20 is a summer celebration that brings communities and families together with thrilling action and entertainment for all ages. Expect a standout season as rising local talent and international superstars go head-to-head across six stadiums nationwide.

The enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming season was visible during the four-city SA20 Schools Tour where South Africa’s youngest cricket fans interacted with their Betway SA20 cricket heroes along with the 20th Player icons and musician YoungstaCPT.

Arrive early

Gates open 3 hours before the first ball and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full Betway SA20 experience.

For the first hour after gates open, kids can take to the field (weather permitting)! Bring a bat and a soft ball for a unique chance to play, explore, and be part of the matchday action before the main game begins. The entertainment will be ramped up further inside all six stadiums with fans in line for the full Betway SA20 experience consisting of free giveaways, fun activities for the kids (stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painters), DJs on the entertainment stage, dance cams, innings break activities and entertainment apart from the incredible cricket on the field.

Be sure also to look out for a ‘selfie’ opportunity with the inaugural Betway Chasing the Catch ambassadors, Shaina-Rae from Durban and Dwayne Nzimande from Johannesburg.
