London Spirit has today announced Uber as an Official Partner ahead of the franchise’s landmark opening home fixture of The Hundred at Lord’s on Thursday 23 July.

The agreement sees one of the world’s most recognisable consumer brands join Barclays and Nike on London Spirit’s impressive partner roster, underlining the momentum generated by the franchise’s new ownership by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and Tech Titans. The partnership spans both Uber and Uber Eats, connecting London Spirit with millions of Londoners through two brands that are part of everyday life across the capital.

The commercial announcement comes as London Spirit, the most valuable franchise in The Hundred, prepares to officially usher in a new era at Lord’s when the Home of Cricket transforms into a sea of blue for Thursday’s opening home fixture against Manchester Super Giants. A crowd in excess of 24,000 – with tickets still on sale – is expected for a matchday experience unlike anything previously seen at the venue, with live entertainment, player arrivals, fan activations and enhanced branding creating a festival atmosphere throughout the day.

The women’s match begins at 14.45 before the men’s fixture gets underway at 18.30, with multi-platinum selling artist Tinie Tempah performing live between the two matches at approximately 17.15.

The opening fixture represents the culmination of 10 months of work building out the new London Spirit brand and engaging new audiences ahead of the sixth edition of The Hundred.

Since launching earlier this year, London Spirit has already delivered significant audience growth:

  • Instagram video views have increased fourfold before the tournament has even started, compared with the entire 2025 season, while engagement has doubled.
  • 5.3 million social media views of the team’s January brand launch, with the new identity shortlisted for a 2026 Creativepool Award.
  • 1.2 million social media views of the new London Spirit kit launch – more than eight times last year’s campaign.
  • Collaborations with leading creators and brands including KSI, New York Jets, Cricket District, Stick to Cricket, Sky Sports, Cricinfo and Cricbuzz.
  • Coverage secured across national and international media including The Times, City AM, Creative Review, Sports Industry Group and The Times of India.
  • London Spirit’s first-party fan database has grown by more than 20,000 supporters.

The franchise has also recorded the strongest ticket sales performance across The Hundred, with paid, owned and earned media campaigns delivering sales on track with 2026 targets and generating an exceptional response to the Early Bird ticket campaign.

Fans arriving at Lord’s on Thursday will experience a transformed matchday environment featuring:

  • A headline live performance from Tinie Tempah, presented by Barclays, between the women’s and men’s matches. Tinie is the perfect choice to launch the new London Spirit era: born and bred in London, with a capital-centric audience and strong appeal among The Hundred’s family and young adult fanbase.
  • Enhanced blue branding and digital takeovers across the Ground, including London Spirit players arriving in a bespoke Nike Icons range created just for the home team squad as they walk the blue carpet welcoming them to the Home of Cricket.
  • London Spirit’s new matchday DJ, Zoe London, and host Laura Barraclough entertaining supporters throughout the day.
  • Fan giveaways, interactive entertainment and Barclays activations across the Ground.
  • The opening home fixture marks the beginning of an ambitious in-tournament programme designed to introduce new audiences to cricket through London Spirit, with extensive behind-the-scenes content, media access, influencer partnerships and fan engagement planned throughout the competition.
