London, 9 June 2025: The World Cricketers’ Association (WCA) has extended its congratulations to the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and the Cricket Connects Advisory Board for successfully hosting the World Cricket Connects event at Lord’s over the weekend.
The high-profile forum brought together a wide cross-section of cricket’s global stakeholders—including players’ representatives, administrators, policymakers, and commercial leaders—for open dialogue on the evolving landscape and future of the sport.
WCA Board Member Paul Marsh and CEO Tom Moffat delivered a presentation based on the WCA’s landmark report, “Protecting History, Embracing Change,” which examines the key structural and ethical challenges facing cricket and outlines a vision for balanced reform and sustainable global development.
WCA also had several influential contributors across the event’s panel discussions, including:
