Bio
Fawad Naeem Rana, a renowned businessman in Pakistan and Qatar, was the first owner to purchase a team in the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars.
The Lahore Qalandars franchise was sold to Qatar Lubricants Company for $24m for a span of 10 years, making it the 2nd most expensive franchise in PSL after the Karachi Kings.
Fawad Rana along with his brothers Atif Rana (CEO) and Sameen Rana (COO and Team Manager), run the Qalandars.
Interesting note: the “Q” in Qalandars represents Qatar and Qalco. The name Qalandars itself highlights the Sufi culture of Lahore.
