11 major sponsors join JioStar as Champions Trophy makes its return

JioStar, the exclusive broadcaster and streaming partner for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, has secured an impressive lineup of 11 major sponsors, reinforcing its influence in sports broadcasting. The tournament, returning after an eight-year hiatus, is set to captivate cricket fans worldwide, with matches taking place across Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The Champions Trophy, often referred to as a ‘World Cup Lite,’ features the world’s top teams battling for supremacy in the 50-over format. India aims for dominance after missing the ICC World Test Championship final, while England looks to reassert its white-ball prowess following a disappointing World Cup exit.

South Africa, historically plagued by semi-final heartbreaks, now struggles with final losses. New Zealand wants to prove its strength, Afghanistan seeks recognition as a white-ball powerhouse, Bangladesh hopes for another semi-final run, and Pakistan is eager to claim victory on home soil after hosting a major tournament for the first time in years.

The confirmed sponsors for the tournament include Dream11, Pernod Ricard India, Beam Suntory, Kohler, Birla Opus, Vodafone Idea, ICICI Direct, McEnroe, and Eicher Motors. Additionally, Indira IVF and LIC Housing Finance have joined as associate sponsors on DD Sports. This sponsorship lineup reflects the tournament’s commercial appeal and the strong market confidence in JioStar’s platform.

Anup Govindan, Chief Revenue Officer, Sports, JioStar, expressed excitement over the partnerships: “We are thrilled to bring the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 to millions of cricket fans in India, supported by a robust roster of sponsors. This tournament is poised to be a landmark event, and the enthusiastic participation of top brands underscores the unifying power of cricket. We look forward to delivering an unmatched viewing experience for fans and meaningful value for our partners.”

JioStar continues to set new benchmarks in sports broadcasting, focusing on accessibility, inclusivity, and cutting-edge technology. By providing digital entertainment and sports content, the company ensures that cricket enthusiasts can enjoy comprehensive coverage of the tournament through JioHotstar, offering enhanced viewing features and engaging content.

With the Champions Trophy 2025 now underway, the tournament is expected to attract significant global attention, bolstered by JioStar’s strong sponsorship support and commitment to revolutionizing the viewing experience for millions of fans.
