Bio

James Welch is a registered cricket agent with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the director of Quantum Sport, a sports management company representing elite sportsmen and women. He has been with Quantum Sport since June 2012, helping to manage the careers of some of the most talented athletes in the industry.

Some of the clients represented by Welch include England’s premium fast bowlers Mark Wood and David Willey, as well as former and current Scotland cricket captains Kyle Coetzer and Richie Berrington, respectively.

Prior to joining Quantum Sport, Welch was a director at Full Time Sports Management Limited, a leading sports agency that provides specialized and tailored management services to all of its clients. With over a decade of experience in the sports industry, Welch is widely respected for his expertise and dedication to his clients.

As a lawyer by practice, Welch spent over four years at Muckle LLP, a leading commercial law firm, as a trainee solicitor and employment solicitor. 

Welch graduated from Durham University with a degree in Law.
