About the role
This newly created role has been established to support the continued growth of cricket across the Western Bay of Plenty. Working closely with our Operations and Competitions Manager, you'll help ensure our competitions, programmes, events, and day-to-day administration run smoothly while supporting the delivery of key community cricket initiatives. This is a flexible, part-time, fixed-term role of 800 annualised hours per year (approximately 15 hours per week on average). The role is primarily remote, with flexibility around when hours are worked. Workloads vary throughout the cricket season, so some weeks will be busier than others. Some evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
Key responsibilities
- Competition administration
- PlayHQ management and support
- Maintaining databases and organisational records
- Assisting with administration of camps, tournaments, and events
About you
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently
- A quick learner who is able to learn new systems, processes, and technologies
- Accurate and detail-focused
- Friendly, professional and bring a positive attitude
- A strong communicator
- Previous administration experience is essential
