At the ACC meeting, the topic of improving cricket in Afghanistan and providing additional support to the ACB was discussed. In addition, Afghanistan Cricket Board’s annual budget share was also increased from 6% to 15%.

At the meeting, Afghanistan Cricket Board’s delegation met officials of PCB, BCCI, and other Asian countries and discussed the possibility of playing bilateral games with them. The outcome of these discussions will be made public soon.

The leaders of the Afghanistan Cricket Board also talked with representatives from two other countries about hosting a potential tri-series for under-19 national teams, the final dates for the event to be announced in the near future.
