Prime Video to stream full New Zealand home cricket calendar in India
Prime Video in India has announced that it will stream live coverage of all men’s and women’s international matches from New Zealand’s 2025-26 home cricket season. The agreement gives Indian subscribers access to matches across all formats — Tests, ODIs, and T20Is — running from October 1, 2025, through March 2026.
The upcoming season marks one of the busiest home cricket calendars in New Zealand’s recent history, with both the Black Caps and White Ferns scheduled to host several top international sides.
Packed men’s calendar features Australia, England, West Indies and South Africa
New Zealand’s home season will open with a high-profile three-match T20I series between the Black Caps and Australia from October 1 to 4. England will follow later that month for a white-ball series that includes three T20Is and three ODIs, taking place between October 18 and November 1.
The West Indies will arrive in early November for a comprehensive multi-format tour that includes five T20Is, three ODIs, and three Tests, stretching from November 5 to December 18. In March 2026, South Africa is set to visit for a five-match T20I series, with several fixtures scheduled as double-headers alongside women’s matches.
White Ferns to play Zimbabwe and South Africa
On the women’s side, the White Ferns are set to face Zimbabwe for the first time in international cricket. The two teams will meet for a six-match series comprising three T20Is and three ODIs between February and early March 2026. South Africa’s women’s team will also tour during this period, with several of their matches aligned with men’s fixtures as part of double-header events.
Star players expected across formats and series
Cricket fans in India can expect to see several marquee players in action throughout the season. For New Zealand, Rachin Ravindra and Mitchell Santner are expected to lead the charge. Australia’s squad may include key names like Pat Cummins, Travis Head, and Josh Inglis.
The West Indies contingent is likely to feature Roston Chase and Jomel Warrican, while South Africa is set to be represented by Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma. On the women’s side, White Ferns captain Sophie Devine will headline the squad. Zimbabwe will bring Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza, while South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt is expected to play a key role.
Matches to be played across iconic New Zealand venues
The full season will unfold across nine of New Zealand’s most iconic cricket venues, ensuring widespread coverage of the country’s diverse stadiums and settings. This broad venue selection further enhances the value of the streaming deal for Indian audiences.
