Ahead of IBC Show 2026Eluvio today announced that Cricket Australia has launched Cricket TV, a new direct-to-consumer streaming service built upon Eluvio’s Content Fabric and AI Video Intelligence, extending Cricket Australia’s live and archival programming to fans beyond its existing broadcast markets across the globe. Cricket TV is now available for early access with full commercial launch of the service expected later this year at https://tv.cricket.com.au.

“We’re excited to extend our partnership with Eluvio as we continue to grow Cricket TV and make Australian cricket more accessible to fans around the world,” said Dan Allan, Senior Content Manager, Broadcast at Cricket Australia. “Cricket TV brings live matches and some of the best moments from our archive together in one place for fans around the world. Eluvio has been a fantastic partner throughout the process, helping us deliver a high-quality viewing experience while giving us the flexibility to keep evolving the platform. During the early access period, Cricket TV has already reached viewers in more than 40 countries, highlighting the strong global interest in Australian cricket.”

“We’re honored to have extended our relationship with Cricket Australia, not only to serve their fans with live matches, but also to serve as a model for other sports organizations looking for the most efficient and cost-effective way to deliver protected sports content with the quality today’s global viewers deserve,” said Michelle Munson, CEO and Co-founder, Eluvio. “With one Fabric, sports rights holders can unlock dark markets and monetize live and VOD and leverage frame-accurate inline AI, without file copies— all at a fraction of legacy costs while retaining full control of their customers’ experience and viewer analytics.”

A Unified Platform for Streaming and AI Video Intelligence

Cricket TV provides a white-label browser, mobile, and connected TV application to its viewers built using the Eluvio Media Wallet platform (full turnkey OTT Suite). Cricket TV relies on Eluvio’s Content Fabric to receive live matches or archival source feeds and dynamically ingests, transcodes, publishes and generates just-in-time streaming output directly to viewers. Streaming is provided at full source resolution, including HD and 4K, with dynamic automatic adaptation to the user’s available bandwidth with low latency HLS/DASH delivery, unlimited multi-view, “zero-copy” live-to-VoD and fast DVR playback. The platform also provides subscriptions, pay-per-view, and/or ad-supported monetization, while providing end-to-end content security and anti-piracy protection including strong encryption, DRM, forensic watermarking, and dynamic authorization per-offering including geo blocking and rights control. All features are built-in allowing for a hyper-efficient, tamper-proof distribution, fast and easy purchasing, and on-screen authenticity proofs for the viewer.

In addition, the Eluvio Video Intelligence Editor (EVIE) and AI-assisted tools provide frame-accurate, in-line analysis, indexing, and search, composition, and transformation such as live vertical video, all without file copies or re-transcoding. Finally, Eluvio Content Analytics provides complete transparency of source-to-viewer audience, QoS, and sales analytics.
