The complainant failed to prove the conflict of interest allegations leveled against CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) Apex Council member Surajit Lahiri. Consequently, the CAB Ethics Officer believes that these allegations were brought forward with the malicious intent to harass him. Furthermore, the complainant has no direct or indirect connection to the tournament over which the conflict of interest issue was raised, nor is there any scope for him to be affected by it. Therefore, the CAB Ethics Officer has given Surajit a clean chit.
Saurasish withdraws complaint regarding CAB management
Saurasish Lahiri has no complaints regarding the transparent process of selecting the selection committee and coaches formed by CAB. This was explicitly communicated to the CAB Ombudsman on behalf of the former Bengal U-19 team coach. Additionally, Saurasish has withdrawn all his complaints. As a result, this matter has been resolved.
