The Association strongly condemns and categorically denies the news of negligence circulated by certain media channels regarding the commemorative events held this past weekend.
Reports claiming that floral decorations from the birth anniversary programme of Shri Jagmohan Dalmiya on Saturday were reused for the event honouring Shri Pankaj Roy on Sunday are completely baseless and factually incorrect. This narrative is entirely a false perception manufactured to mislead the public.
Our stance on such false news:
• The Association deeply understands the gravity, sanctity, and emotional weight of honouring our legendary figures. We approach every such occasion with the utmost respect, ensuring that all arrangements—including floral tributes—are fresh, distinct, and managed with complete integrity.
• It has come to our attention that certain vested elements are actively trying to tarnish the esteemed image of the Association through these fabricated stories. Using the names of our revered stalwarts to peddle such narratives is deeply unfortunate.
• Shri Pranab Roy, CAB Apex Council Member and son of late Shri Pankaj Roy, was also invited by the CAB to grace the occasion.
