Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials have announced that the Champions Trophy will be brought to Kabul for public display.

According to the ACB, the trophy will arrive in Kabul from the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday and will be displayed at various historical sites across the country for cricket fans.

The 50-over Champions Trophy tournament, scheduled for February 2025, will be hosted by Pakistan and feature eight participating teams, including Afghanistan’s national team.

Pakistan last won the Champions Trophy in 2017, defeating India in the final.

The Champions Trophy is an ICC event held every four years, with hosting rights rotating among the ICC’s full-member nations.
