Cricket Australia (CA), in collaboration with ASICS, today released the playing kit for the 150th Anniversary Test Match with the apparel specially designed to reflect and enhance this historic occasion.
The kit was launched with 150 days to go before the 150th Anniversary Test Match (March 11-15) at the MCG where the cricket world will come together to celebrate the past, present and future of the game.
A special feature of the uniform is the gold trimming on the collar and pants, while the 150th Test logo will also feature on the shirt.
The use of gold symbolises the legacy, achievement and enduring excellence of Test cricket with the 150th Anniversary Test to honour pioneers, celebrate current greats, and inspire future generations.
The designers also wanted to highlight the prestige, significance and once-in-a-generation nature of the occasion, while preserving the heritage and timeless identity of Australia’s iconic Test uniform.
A range of premium hospitality andtravel experiences are still available across the 150th Test, providing fans with the opportunity to be part of this historic occasion.
All public tickets released for the first three days of the Test so far have been sold. Tickets to Day 4 are still available here.

“The 150th Anniversary Test will be one of the defining moments in Australian Cricket’s history, and this commemorative kit is a fitting tribute to the occasion.
“It is only on the most significant occasions that we tailor special uniforms for our teams, and we would like to thank ASICS for producing a uniform that honours 150 years of Test cricket through the gold integration.
“We are all looking forward celebrating the players and moments that have shaped Test cricket at the MCG in March, while also inspiring future generations.”
