The KFC BBL Final will be played at Ninja Stadium for the first time after the Hobart Hurricanes secured hosting rights to this season’s decider on Monday, January 27.
After finishing first on the KFC BBL|14 table, The Hurricanes became the first team to reach The Final after defeating the Sydney Sixers by 12 runs in The Qualifier tonight.
The Sixers remain in the race for the KFC BBL|14 title, and will host The Challenger at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday, January 24.
Their opponent will be determined tomorrow night at ENGIE Stadium when Sydney Thunder take on Melbourne Stars in The Knockout.
Tickets to The Challenger and The Final go on sale on Wednesday, January 22 at 10:00am AEDT for club members and 12:00pm AEDT to the public at www.bigbash.com.au. Tickets to The Knockout are still available.
Every Finals match will be broadcast on Seven, Foxtel, 7plus and Kayo Sports, with radio coverage on ABC Sport and SEN.

The Qualifier: Hobart Hurricanes 7-173 def Sydney Sixers 5-161 by 12 runs on Tuesday, January 21 at Ninja Stadium.
The Knockout: Sydney Thunder v Melbourne Stars, Wednesday, January 22, 7:30pm AEDT, ENGIE Stadium.
The Challenger: Sydney Sixers v winner of The Knockout, Friday, January 24, 7:15pm AEDT, Sydney Cricket Ground.
The Final: Hobart Hurricanes v winner of The Challenger, Monday, January 27, 7:15pm AEDT, Ninja Stadium.
Note: A reserve day of Tuesday, January 28, 7:15pm AEDT is available for The Final.
