Cricket NSW has today announced HomeWorld as a Principal Partner of the NSW Breakers for the 2026-27 season.

As part of the one-year deal, HomeWorld expands its association with cricket by becoming the NSW Breakers’ front-of-shirt sponsor for all WNCL matches this summer.

The partnership reinforces HomeWorld’s ongoing commitment to supporting women’s sport and cricket across New South Wales.

Celebrating its 40th year in 2026, HomeWorld has been a long-term supporter of cricket in New South Wales, previously partnering with the Sydney Thunder’s BBL and WBBL teams.

Ben Hirschfeld, Cricket NSW Chief Commercial Officer, said:

“Cricket NSW is thrilled that HomeWorld has signed on as the NSW Breakers’ Principal Partner for the upcoming summer.

“The Breakers are one of country’s most successful sporting teams, and this partnership will aid our ambition of making the Breakers the best high-performance sports program in Australia.

“We’re incredibly grateful to HomeWorld for their support.”

Trudi Busch, Chief Marketing Officer of HomeWorld, said:

“We are incredibly proud to become Principal Partners of the NSW Breakers and build on our commitment to cricket and women’s sport.

“Women’s cricket continues to lead the way, and the Breakers have such a proud heritage and history of success. We’re thrilled to partner with a team that has made such an important contribution to the game.

“We’re excited about the season ahead with the NSW Breakers. It’s a full-circle moment for us, having worked with Lauren Cheatle when she signed her first WBBL contract. To now see her leading the Breakers as captain is a wonderful moment, and we’re thrilled to see her in this role.”
