Perth Scorchers are thrilled to announce 8 NETWORKS as the Club’s Official Telecommunications, Mobile & Internet Partner ahead of the upcoming summer of Big Bash.

The two-year partnership marks a significant milestone for 8 Networks, as it is the company’s first sporting partnership.

Founded to make telco simple for Australians, 8 NETWORKS offers 5G SIM-only mobile plans on the Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network and National Broadband Network (NBN) home internet services, backed by dedicated concierge support and with no lock-in contracts, set-up fees or surcharges.

The partnership will see 8 NETWORKS connect with Perth Scorchers Members and supporters throughout the summer, while growing awareness of its mobile and internet services.

“We’re delighted to welcome 8 NETWORKS to the Scorchers family ahead of what promises to be an exciting WBBL season,” Perth Scorchers General Manager Kade Harvey said.

“As a proudly Western Australian organisation, 8 NETWORKS shares our commitment to community, innovation and delivering exceptional experiences for people across the state.

“We look forward to working together over the next two years.”

8 NETWORKS Co-Founder Tayyab Qaiser said the Club was the obvious choice for the company’s first sporting partnership.

“We went straight to the champions,” Mr Qaiser said.

“The Scorchers are the most successful club in Big Bash history, and every summer they bring Aussies together. Keeping people connected is what we do, so it’s a natural fit.

“We’re proud to back a Club with such a passionate fan base.”

8 NETWORKS Co-Founder Treesha Sangha said the partnership was a chance to show more Australians a simpler way to do telco.

“The big telcos made phone and internet complicated. We set out to make it simple,” Ms Sangha said.

“Like the Scorchers, we compete with the biggest names in the game, and we do it by putting our customers first, with concierge support and a straightforward experience every step of the way.

“When our customers need help, they get a real person, not a call centre queue. That’s the experience we can’t wait to share with Scorchers fans this summer.”

8 NETWORKS customers can reach its dedicated concierge team by phone or WhatsApp.

Throughout the WBBL and BBL seasons, 8 NETWORKS will be connecting with Scorchers fans at the ground and online, and showing more Australians how simple telco can be.
