12 players have been selected in the squad for Scotland’s first competitive action since the coronavirus pandemic began earlier this year.

Squad: Kathryn Bryce © (Eagles), Sarah Bryce (v/c) (w/k) (Eagles), Abbi Aitken-Drummond (Eagles), Priyanaz Chatterji (Stormers), Ikra Farooq (Eagles), Katherine Fraser (Eagles), Becky Glen (Stormers), Lorna Jack (Stormers), Abtaha Maqsood (Stormers), Megan McColl (Stormers), Charis Scott (Eagles), Ellen Watson (Stormers)

The squad will be supported by head coach Steven Knox, assistant coach Peter Ross, analyst Charlotte Dalton, physio Jim Scanlan, scorer Rene Grosvenor and Paul Macari as COVID monitor.

Speaking of the fixtures, Steven Knox said: “It’s great to finally get the representative season underway. The squad worked so hard over the winter and were looking forward to putting all that hard work into practice when COVID-19 unfortunately put a stop to all that happening.

“Sunday will hopefully be the start of a few weeks of high quality competition for the majority of the squad as we start looking towards a big year in 2021 with a Commonwealth Games Qualifier and the first stage of qualification for the 2022 T20 World Cup to look forward to.”
