Delta Exchange has expanded its cricket marketing presence by becoming a global sponsor of the India-Afghanistan T20I series in New Delhi, giving the crypto derivatives trading platform on-ground and broadcast exposure across the three-match contest.
The partnership provides Delta Exchange with stadium advertising, broadcast branding and fan-engagement opportunities during the series at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The company says the agreement also makes it the first crypto brand to sponsor on-ground cricket advertising inventory in India.
Delta Exchange targets wider consumer reach
The sponsorship forms part of Delta Exchange’s push to extend its visibility beyond its existing trading audience and introduce a broader group of consumers to its expanding range of products and platform features.
Delta Exchange Head of Marketing Neeraj Thakur said in an official statement: “India’s strong passion towards Cricket has inspired us to sponsor the India–Afghanistan T20I Series in India, enabling us to take the Delta Exchange brand to a much wider consumer base across the country. As we continue to expand our product offering and make sophisticated trading instruments more accessible, we are focused on building greater awareness and meaningful engagement around the platform.”
The company has broadened its offering beyond cryptocurrency derivatives, adding tokenised real-world asset products. These include gold token options and futures, silver token futures, and US stock token futures linked to global companies and indices.
Afghanistan controls series commercial rights
While all three T20Is are taking place in India, Afghanistan is the designated host of the series. That arrangement gives the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) control of the property’s commercial and media rights.
The ACB has secured e& (formerly known as Etisalat) as the series title sponsor alongside other commercial partners. In India, Sony Sports Network holds the television rights, with FanCode providing digital streaming coverage.
The structure also distinguishes Delta Exchange’s agreement from a direct sponsorship of the Indian national team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) prohibited cryptocurrency and real-money gaming companies from bidding for the Indian team’s lead sponsorship rights in September 2025, while Delta Exchange’s deal covers advertising and broadcast assets attached to an ACB-hosted series.
India secure series ahead of final T20I
The three-match series is being staged at Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 13, 15 and 17.
India secured the series with a seven-wicket victory in the second T20I on September 15, establishing an unassailable 2-0 advantage. The third and final match is scheduled for September 17.
