The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has appointed SECUTIX as its official ticketing services partner for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, in a move set to support what is expected to be the highest-attended women’s cricket event in history.

Scheduled to run from June 12 to July 5, 2026, the tournament will feature 12 teams playing 33 matches across 24 days at seven major venues across England and Wales: Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Headingley, Old Trafford, The Oval, Bristol County Ground, and Lord’s.

Full-service ticketing led by SECUTIX and FAN4LIFE

Under the new partnership, SECUTIX will manage all aspects of the tournament’s ticketing operation through its comprehensive FAN4LIFE major projects offering. This includes:

A full-time Head of Ticketing dedicated to the tournament

Advisory services and ticketing strategy

Sales and fulfilment operations

Payment processing and mobile ticketing integration

On-site support and fan care services

David Payne, Head of Product and Data at the ECB, said:

“With SECUTIX and their FAN4LIFE team supporting our ticketing operations, we’re confident in delivering an exceptional fan experience. Their full-service approach allows us to focus on creating a world-class tournament while they manage the complexities of ticketing.”

The 2026 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup is set to be the largest ever, reflecting the rapid growth of women’s cricket both in the UK and globally. The ECB’s partnership with SECUTIX aligns with its broader strategic goals: expanding the fan base, enhancing matchday experiences, and increasing commercial revenue.

Innovations in mobile ticketing and fan engagement

For the first time, mobile ticketing will be integrated directly into the ICC app, allowing fans to receive, manage, and — if needed — resell tickets through a secure platform. This advancement is designed to improve convenience and reduce ticket fraud while driving engagement among digital-first audiences.

David Hornby, Vice President UK, Ireland & FAN4LIFE at SECUTIX, added:

“Women’s cricket is experiencing unprecedented growth, and the expanded tournament next summer promises to be a spectacular celebration of the sport. We’re excited to support the ECB in delivering a landmark event and continuing to grow the fanbase for the women’s game.”

Building on past success in global cricket

SECUTIX is already deeply embedded in the English cricket landscape, working with nearly all Division One counties and major competitions such as The Hundred and the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA. The addition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup extends SECUTIX’s cricket portfolio and influence in global sports ticketing.

The tournament will officially open on June 12, 2026, with England taking on Sri Lanka at Edgbaston, and will culminate with the final at Lord’s on July 5.

The public ticket ballot opens on July 30, 2025. Fans can register their interest via the ICC website.
