15 May 2025 – Europe is set to host a blockbuster summer of international cricket with four ICC World Cup pathway events scheduled between May and August 2025. With qualification at stake for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, and the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, teams across the continent are preparing for a pivotal few months of competitive action.
Events will be held in Italy, the Netherlands, and Scotland, with 19 teams from 11 nations participating across the three qualification pathways.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 – Division 2 kicks off in Italy
The summer schedule opens with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Europe Qualifier Division 2, taking place in Rome from 25–29 May. Italy will host Germany, Isle of Man, Jersey, Spain and Sweden in a round-robin format across Simar and Roma Cricket Grounds. The top two teams will progress to the next stage in August.
Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 – Europe Qualifier heads to Netherlands
From 5–11 July, the Netherlands will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Europe Qualifier at Voorburg Cricket Ground. Teams include Netherlands, Scotland, Jersey, Guernsey, and Italy. The top two will secure spots in the global qualifier for India and Sri Lanka 2026.
U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 – Europe’s rising stars meet in Scotland
Scotland will host the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Europe Qualifier from 31 July to 6 August at Forfarshire, Arbroath, and Strathmore. Denmark, Guernsey, Jersey, Netherlands, Scotland and Sweden will battle for one World Cup spot in Zimbabwe and Namibia 2026.
