The Asian Cricket Council is seeking an experienced, dynamic and strategic professional to lead its Media, Communications and Operations functions. The role combines strategic
communications, digital content leadership, tournament media operations, stakeholder
engagement and organisational execution in a fast-moving international cricket environment.

About the Role
The Head of Media, Communications & Operations will play a senior leadership role in
strengthening the ACC's profile, delivering effective communications across traditional and digital media, supporting the successful delivery of ACC tournaments and events, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operational execution.

The successful candidate will work closely with ACC leadership, Member Boards, the ICC,
broadcasters, commercial partners, sponsors, media organisations, host bodies and other key stakeholders across Asia.

Key Responsibilities
MEDIA & STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
• Develop and implement the ACC's overall media and communications strategy, aligned with Council’s objectives and priorities.
• Serve as a senior communications adviser to ACC leadership and support communication of key decisions, policies, initiatives and events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international and regional cricket media,
broadcasters, journalists and other media stakeholders.
• Oversee press releases, media statements, speeches, presentations, briefing documents and other official communications.
• Act as an ACC spokesperson on appropriate matters and coordinate media responses when required.

DIGITAL MEDIA & CONTENT
• Lead the development and implementation of the ACC's digital content and social media strategy.
• Oversee editorial planning and day-to-day content operations across ACC digital platforms and social media channels.
• Develop compelling content plans around ACC tournaments, competitions and major
initiatives.
• Grow audience reach and engagement across Asia, including markets with different languages and digital-consumption habits.
• Identify opportunities with existing and emerging digital and social platforms and ensure ACC messaging is integrated across digital output.
• Establish relevant KPIs and use audience and campaign analytics to evaluate performance and continually improve content.

TOURNAMENT & EVENT MEDIA OPERATIONS
• Lead and coordinate media operations for ACC tournaments, competitions and other major events.
• Develop media plans, accreditation processes, media facilities, press conferences, mixedzone arrangements and other tournament communications requirements.
• Work closely with host Member Boards, broadcasters, production teams, commercial
partners and tournament management.
• Coordinate communications before, during and after ACC events, including rapid-response communications when required.
• Support the creation of outstanding event experiences for media, stakeholders and
audiences.

OPERATIONS & ORGANISATIONAL MANAGEMENT
• Support effective day-to-day ACC operations and the implementation of organisational
strategies, policies and leadership decisions.
• Establish efficient operating processes and promote continuous improvement, and high
performance.
• Coordinate across departments and functions to ensure organisational priorities and major projects are delivered effectively.
• Support budgeting, operational planning, procurement and financial control for areas under the position's responsibility.
• Prepare reports, presentations and operational updates for ACC leadership, the board and relevant committees.
• Manage suppliers, agencies, consultants and other third-party service providers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets.

STAKEHOLDER & COMMERCIAL COORDINATION
• Develop effective relationships with ACC Member Boards, the ICC, broadcasters, sponsors, commercial partners, agencies and other cricket stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively to ensure sponsorship, broadcast and contractual communications
obligations are fulfilled.
• Identify opportunities for media and digital activities to support the ACC's commercial
objectives and strengthen value delivered to partners.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT
• Lead, manage and develop personnel working across media, communications, digital content and operational activities.
• Manage external agencies, content producers, media-service providers and other vendors where required.
• Establish clear objectives and performance expectations, fostering a collaborative,
accountable and high-performing culture.
• Coordinate effectively with colleagues across the ACC to ensure integrated delivery of
organisational objectives.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• The ideal candidate will bring a blend of media expertise, communications judgement,
operational discipline and an understanding of cricket and its stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading media and communications activities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including media materials, reports, speeches, presentations and executive communications.
• Demonstrated understanding of television, broadcast, print, online, social media and
emerging digital platforms.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills, with experience managing internal teams and external agencies or suppliers.
• Sound budgeting, project-management and organisational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
• A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong understanding of and passion for cricket;
• Excellent command of English. Additional Asian-language capability would be advantageous.
