Auckland Cricket is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality operations across our Performance and Talent programmes.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the operational success of our domestic teams and pathway programmes, including the Regional Development Programme and representative cricket. You will oversee logistics, match day operations, health and safety, facilities, and programme delivery—ensuring everything runs seamlessly to support performance.
You’ll lead operational contractors, manage multiple programmes simultaneously, and work closely with coaches, staff and stakeholders to deliver a positive and effective performance environment
We are looking for a proven leader with strong organisational and communication skills, experience in high-performance sport or event operations, and the ability to manage multiple programmes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operations across all Performance & Talent programmes
- Deliver domestic and pathway match day operations
- Oversee logistics including travel, accommodation, and equipment
- Drive health & safety compliance and best practice
- Manage operational budgets and resources
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You:
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or event delivery (sport preferred)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of health & safety practices
