The Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) is the collective and representative voice of past, present and future male and female professional domestic and international cricketers in Australia. We are looking for Player Development Programs Coordinator to join our team located on a part time basis. While this role is primarily an on-site role, flexible arrangements including flexible days and hours will be considered. This role will work from our Melbourne office however we are very open to considering candidates from other locations across Australia.
Working as part of the Player Development & Wellbeing team, which supports players’ personal development and wellbeing throughout and beyond their sporting careers, this is a varied and rewarding role. You will provide administrative support and coordinate key programs and initiatives, ensuring their smooth and efficient delivery.
Key responsibilities of the role including:
- Provide coordination and administration support to the Player Development & Wellbeing team and its initiatives
- Provide event support to the annual:
- New Player Induction Camp
- GamePlan Conference
- PDM Conferences
- Provide general coordination and admin support for the Player Development Programs (GamePlan & GamePlan Next)
- Support the evaluation of Player Development programs and initiatives as required
- Provide reports and data insights to key stakeholders’ program and initiatives
- Liaise with members as a key point of contact for any queries relating to grants and programs
- Work collaboratively with other departments within ACA to promote programs and increase program engagement with members.
- Provide travel, accommodation, and logistical support.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key external providers
- Ensure that regular and timely communications are provided to program stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience in administration and/or program management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound critical thinking, judgement, and problem-solving capability, both independently and within a team
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional organisational standards
- High level of initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience working collaboratively in small teams
- Knowledge of, or exposure to, cricket or the elite sports industry
- Strong attention to detail, with a reliable and diligent work ethic
- Capability to gather, analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce
