The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the apex governing body for cricket in Bangladesh, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for appointment to the ‘National Selection Panel’.

The National Selection Panel is responsible for selecting squads for all formats of Men’s International, ‘A’ team, and parts of Domestic Cricket, ensuring the continued growth, competitiveness, and success of Bangladesh cricket at the highest level.

Position Title: Member, National Selection Panel

Number of Position: 02 (Two) Nos.

Term of Appointment:
 Initially for 2 (two) years. (The appointment may be extended, subject to satisfactory performance review).

Remuneration:
 Attractive salary and benefits (Subject to qualification, experience, and background).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Select squads for all formats of Bangladesh Senior Men’s National Teams (Test, ODI, and T20I), Bangladesh A Team, HP Unit, NCL, BCL, BPL, and other men’s squads as advised by BCB.
  • Monitor domestic and international performances closely.
  • Attend domestic matches and maintain detailed performance databases.
  • Work in coordination with the Head Coach and Team Management.
  • Provide strategic input on player development and succession planning.
  • Submit regular reports to the Cricket Operations Committee, BCB.

Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Playing Experience: Former International or First-Class cricketer with a combined experience of at least 100 First-Class and List A matches.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the demands of modern cricket across all formats.
  • Skills: Proven integrity, leadership, and decision-making ability.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within Bangladesh and abroad.
  • Communication: Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
