About us

For nearly 150 years, Canterbury Cricket has stood for something beyond the game itself. Since 1877, we've worked to make cricket in Canterbury accessible, sustainable, and meaningful, from juniors playing their first game of backyard cricket to those privileged to represent Canterbury and New Zealand.

Everything we do is grounded in three commitments: the courage to make the decisions that serve the game's future, the respect for the people, clubs, and communities who give it life, and the integrity to always do what's right.
