Job Summary
The Centre Coordinator at Century Cricket Centre, Houston is responsible for the overall management, operations, and development of the facility, ensuring that it operates smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This role involves overseeing facility maintenance, and delivering high-quality services, coaching and programs to members, athletes, and visitors. 

The Centre Coordinator plays a key role in promoting the Centre as a premier cricket facility in the  region, fostering strong community relationships, and driving customer satisfaction. 

The role also requires strategic planning, budget management, marketing initiatives, lead management and operational improvements to enhance the Centre's offerings and performance. The Centre Manager will work closely with the Executive Vice President - Operations and  other stakeholders to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

1. Centre Operations 

  • Oversee all day-to-day activities at the Century Cricket Centre, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. 
  • Manage member enquiries, including facility tours, inductions, and general support. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility through regular cleaning and maintenance coordination. 
  • Manage the Centre’s inbox, responding to emails in a timely and professional manner. Handle debt collection, stock control, and payment processing. 
  • Monitoring security protocols within the centre. 
  • Support business growth by developing and implementing new ideas, strategies, and innovations. 
  • Help plan and execute advertising and marketing initiatives to promote the Centre's services and programs. 
  • Follow up leads or prospects that come into our pipeline for the centre. 

2. Coaching 

  • Conduct one-on-one cricket coaching sessions 
  • Provide video analysis to members as support packages 
  • Write and develop coaching plans based off members wants/needs
  • Possibility of filming coaching content for branding and marketing purposes

3. Relationship Coordination 

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools, cricket clubs, and state sporting bodies to support collaboration and program growth. 
  • Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders, including parents, coaches, and partner organizations. 
  • Ensure open and effective communication with stakeholders to promote engagement, address feedback, and enhance program satisfaction. 
  • Fosr positive relationships to enourage ongoing participation and program expansion.

4. Technology Systems Management 

  • Oversee daily operation of AI-powered performance analysis technology and smart  equipment 
  • Assist members with technology setup and basic troubleshooting 
  • Monitor and maintain centre management applications digital devices 
  • Coordinate with technical support teams for equipment maintenance, software updates, and  system optimisation 
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of smart bowling machines, digital displays, and integrated  systems 

5. Digital Member Experience 

  • Guide members through mobile application registration, profile setup, and digital platform  navigation 
  • Assist with digital booking systems, automated payment processing, and membership  management tools 
  • Help members understand and interpret their automated performance analytics, progress  tracking, and AI-generated recommendations
  • Facilitate member onboarding to smart facility features including automated access systems  and personalised training environments.

Key Selection Criteria

1. Qualifications: 

  • Relevant qualifications in sports management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Cricket Australia Coaching Level 2 (representative) Accreditation (or equivalent) as a minimum. Relevant first Aid/CPR 

2. Key experience: 

  • Experience in facility management, sports operations, or program coordination. Demonstrated experience managing staff, including coaches and service teams. Knowledge and understanding of cricket operations or similar sporting 
  • environments (desirable). 

3. Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to resolve operational challenges. Proficiency in business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email management, and facility management systems). 
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies to support business growth. Digital Platform Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software systems,  mobile applications, and AI-powered sports technology platforms 
  • Technology Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to embrace new technologies with a proactive  approach to learning and troubleshooting 
  • Problem-Solving Approach: Systematic mindset for identifying technology issues, implementing  provided solutions, and effectively coordinating with global technical support teams to resolve  complex problems while maintaining excellent member service.

Additional Information: 

  • The position requires evening and weekend work 
  • Some travel may be necessary to attend events, meetings, and tours.
  • Successful applicants will already have ability to work in USA with relevant visas/residency

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Operational Efficiency: 

  • Maintain a high standard of facility cleanliness and operational readiness. 
  • Ensure all member enquiries and inbox communications are addressed within set Timeframes (acknowledged within 24 hrs)
  • Achieve targeted improvements in stock control and payment processing efficiency. 

2. Program Delivery: 

  • Ensure all scheduled coaching runs on time, with effective coach and facility  coordination.
  • Maintain high participation rates through timely communications and quality of sessions
  • Meet deadlines for casual staff payments, event promotions, and any delegated tasks. 

3. Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction: 

  • Maintain high levels of member satisfaction through prompt, professional service. 
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with at least two new schools, clubs, or  organizations each year.
  • Actively address and resolve feedback to enhance overall program quality and  engagement.

4. Business Growth and Innovation: 

  • Increase Centre membership and program participation rates in line with annual  targets.
  • Ensure local area marketing campaigns and promotions within the local community contribute to  increased visibility and attendance.
  • Manage all leads and prospects that come through either our Centre admin portal.
