This is your opportunity to join a purpose led organisation that truly makes a difference to Australians.

We're searching to fill an Event & Club Operations Specialist position and looking for someone to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. If you thrive in high‑energy environments and love bringing experiences to life, this role is for you.

Reporting to the Event Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating match day partner activations, including timelines, logistics, guidelines, documentation and troubleshooting.
- Managing League approvals for Club match day activations, acting as the conduit between Clubs, internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Providing operational support for the Big Bash signage program, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of partner and virtual signage content.
- Delivering administrative and operational support across platforms (including Monday.com), accreditation, logistics and League requirements.
- Supporting wider League events such as fixture announcements, kit launches, the Edge Conference, W/BBL Draft, hospitality events and season launches.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in operational delivery of events or match days, ideally within sport or major events.
- Experience identifying and managing event and operational risks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced environments.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience delivering partner or event activation requirements.
- Ability to travel interstate if required.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
Although not essential, tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Sports Management or a related field, experience with Monday.com project management, working in major stadiums or venue environments and a Level 2 First Aid certification will be highly regarded.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Our employees at Cricket are gifted an additional week of leave at the end of the season! As a CA employee, you'll also have other benefits including:
- Tickets to the Cricket for you to take your friends and family and experience Australia's favourite game!
- A flexible working environment, meaning we strike the balance of what you need and what works for the business (this isn't limited to working remotely)
