EMPLOYMENT: Part-Time (25 Hours Per Week)

As District Manager of Cricket North Otago, you will be the driving force behind cricket in our region — leading participation growth, supporting clubs and schools, securing funding, and strengthening the sustainability of the game.

You will be the public face and advocate for cricket across North Otago, working closely with clubs, volunteers, sponsors and community partners to grow the game at all levels.

The Role:

▪ Grow participation across clubs, schools and community programmes
▪ Lead funding applications and develop sponsorship partnerships
▪ Be the primary contact for clubs, schools and stakeholders
▪ Build strong relationships across the cricket community
▪ Deliver and report on strategic plans, KPIs and budgets
▪ Ensure effective competition and programme delivery

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong administration and reporting skills
Proven in funding and sponsorship procurement
A confident communicator and relationship builder
Comfortable being the public face of cricket in North Otago
Inclusive, community-minded and culturally aware
A self-starter who delivers outcomes with limited resources
Passionate about growing community sport
