ABOUT NSW COLLEGE OF SPORT

The NSW College of Sport is the education arm of Cricket NSW and delivers and assesses this program on behalf of UOW College Australia, a registered training organisation (RTO Code 91159), owned by the University of Wollongong. The NSW College of Sport works in partnership with a broad spectrum of sport and recreation industry organisations beyond cricket to provide outstanding placement experiences, outcomes, and pathways for students. Through our programs and courses we are developing the next generation of sports industry leaders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an outstanding and experienced educator to join our team. The Education Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination and delivery of structured, relevant, and engaging training and education programs that support students to achieve their training goals, as well as meeting associated compliance requirements. In this role you will:

  • Review and implement training and assessment strategies including assessment material, unit outlines, assessment matrices, lesson plans and lesson resources
  • Coordinate program delivery through scheduling, staffing, and ensuring access to required facilities and resources.
  • Ensure compliance and quality by managing training and assessment in line with the 2025 Standards for RTOs and organisational policies.
  • Provide academic leadership in the facilitation of units of study and support trainers to deliver engaging, student-focused learning experiences.
  • Enhance the student experience by fostering interactive sessions and providing exceptional support to promote student success.
  • Contribute to student acquisition to attract and enrol learners into our programs.

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent related experience
  • Successfully completed TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in teaching or provision of training and assessment services
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people and adults in a training environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Passion for teaching, education and sport development
  • Driven to deliver exceptional outcomes and experiences
