We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Cricket Competitions Manager to join our Premier & Community Cricket team to enable and support Competition Administrators to deliver compliant, effective competitions. Provide practical, customer-focused assistance while improving systems, processes, and communication to reduce administrative burden across associations and clubs.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Cricket Victoria’s Competition Management Strategy across all affiliated community competitions.
  • Lead the Competitions Unit and ensure a coordinated approach across Premier and Community competition staff.
  • Build trusted relationships with Association Executives and competition committees, focused on practical support and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day support for Competition Administrators employed or supported under MOUs and shared-service arrangements.
  • Support consistent and effective use of PlayHQ across community competitions, including fixtures, registrations, grading, transfers, and permits.
  • Own and manage senior stakeholder relationships, driving alignment, clarity, and delivery.

About You

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in sport competition administration.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using PlayHQ or similar competition systems.
  • Experience leading operational teams.
  • High-level planning, organisation and systems capability.
  • Working With Children Check (Employee).

Desirable:

  • Experience working with community sport associations.
  • Not afraid to challenge, influence and drive change.
  • Understanding of Victorian Cricket structures.
