Description

Love live sport, thrive on the detail and enjoy creating unforgettable fan experiences?

We’re looking for a Ticketing Operations Manager to join the Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming Big Bash season. This is a seasonal fixed-term opportunity, expected to commence in September 2026 and run through to February 2027.

You’ll play a key role in bringing our home matches to life, managing everything from ticketing strategy and venue builds to membership operations, reporting and match day delivery. Working closely with internal teams, venues and Cricket Australia, you’ll help maximise attendance, drive revenue and ensure every fan has a seamless experience from purchase through to game day.

About the role

No two days are the same. One day you’ll be building ticketing offers and analysing sales trends, the next you’ll be working with venues to prepare for match day or supporting membership fulfilment behind the scenes.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing ticketing operations across Melbourne Renegades home matches.
  • Building and maintaining ticketing configurations, pricing and inventory.
  • Supporting membership operations, renewals and fulfilment.
  • Monitoring ticket sales, analysing performance and providing reporting and insights.
  • Working with venues, Ticketek, Cricket Australia and internal stakeholders to deliver successful events.
  • Assisting with hospitality ticketing and access requirements.
  • Supporting crowd-building initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Being part of match day operations, assisting supporters and ensuring a great fan experience.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be highly organised, commercially minded and love using data to improve outcomes. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, enjoy solving problems and understand the importance of delivering a great customer experience.

You’ll also have:

  • Experience working with ticketing platforms, ideally Ticketek.
  • Strong Excel and CRM skills.
  • Experience analysing sales and customer data.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, customer-first approach.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Why join us?

At the Melbourne Renegades, you’ll be part of a passionate team working behind the scenes to deliver one of Australia’s biggest sporting competitions. You’ll gain hands-on experience across ticketing, membership, match day operations and fan engagement, while helping create memorable experiences for thousands of supporters throughout the Big Bash season.

If you’re excited by live sport, love working with data and operations, and enjoy seeing your work come to life on game day, we’d love to hear from you.

At Cricket Victoria, we embrace diversity in gender, age, ethnicity, disability, religion and sexual orientation. We are committed to providing a safe environment for children and young people across Australian Cricket and offer a flexible and inclusive workplace for all employees.
