Background
Cricket West Indies (CWI) , which is headquartered in Antigua, is the governing body responsible for cricket in the West Indies. Its mission is to grow, promote and guide the development of the game in communities of the West Indies.

CWI invites applications for the role of Specialist Batting Consultant , a position at the heart of our high -performance setup. We are seeking an experienced, visionary coach with a passion for player development, a proven ability to impact high -level performance, and a commitment to raising the standards of West Indies cricket.

The Role
The Specialist Batting Consultant will be tasked with improving the technical, tactical, and mental aspects of batting across the regional and international system.

Key Areas of Services & Deliverables
• Design and implement individualized batting development plans.
• Provide tactical input and match preparation support to national squads.
• Work collaboratively with coaches, analysts, and medical staff to support batter performance.
• Guide the alignment of batting philosophies across domestic, academy, and international levels.
• Mentor and upskill assistant & regional coaches.

Qualification s and Experience s Required :
Academic/Professional Qualifications
• Minimum of Level 3 Coaching Certification (or international equivalent); Level 4 preferred.

Practical Experience
• Proven experience and success in:
o First - class or international playing experience (strongly preferred).
o Coaching elite batters.
• Proven success as a batting coach at the elite or international level.

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Knowledge & Fully Skilled/Competent
• Deep understanding of modern batting techniques, strategy, and game tempo across formats.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with using performance software (e.g., Hudl, SportsCode).
• Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills .
• Flexibility to travel extensively and work in high -pressure, results -driven environments.
